Inter Miami CF has announced a premium multi-year international partnership with Visa, with the latter becoming the club’s first-ever official international payment services partner.

Under the terms of the deal, the payment giant will hold exclusive rights within its category to activate the Inter Miami brand across all five continents. In addition, the partnership will provide Visa clients and customers with exclusive access to experiences with the MLS team.

Xavier Asensi, Chief Business Officer at Inter Miami CF, commented: “Our partnership with Visa marks a significant milestone, not only for Inter Miami CF but also for Major League Soccer, as we are honoured to be Visa’s newest partner in MLS.

“With our international fanbase, top-tier roster and global vision aligning seamlessly with Visa’s expansive worldwide reach, this collaboration reaffirms our commitment to catering to our diverse audience on the world stage.”

Some of the aforementioned experiences that Visa customers can expect include attending training sessions and pre-match warmups, enjoying post-match photo opportunities, exploring stadium and training centre tours and accessing exclusive merchandise signed by their favourite players.

Looking forward, the pair will soon unveil additional promotions, initiatives and activities for fans and customers.

Visa boasts several partnerships with global sports organisations. Earlier this year the company was announced as a founding partner of the National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) newest club, Bay FC.

Luciana Resende Lotze, Head of Marketing for Visa Latin America and the Caribbean, said: “From Miami to Latin America and the Caribbean and virtually every corner of the world, fútbol is way more than a game: it is a passion that makes our hearts beat, unites communities and cultures.

“Our partnership with Inter Miami CF reflects our dedication to enhancing this experience for fans and supporting players on and off the field.

“We will team up with Inter Miami CF to extend the passion for fútbol internationally, by creating new and exciting opportunities for fans to connect and have chances to live unique experiences with the Club.”
